Afternoon Rollover Crash on 280 Freeway in San Bruno Sends Four People to Hospital

 
SAN BRUNO, CA (September 16, 2024) – Four people were hospitalized in a rollover accident on 280 Freeway in San Bruno Saturday afternoon on September 14.
 
The accident happened around 4:30 p.m. just north of Sneath Lane. According to the California Highway Patrol, at least three vehicles collided on the freeway, one of them overturned on its side.
 
When officers arrived, they found three people in the overturned vehicle, an adult and two juveniles. They all complained of pain and were taken to a hospital.
 
Another patient from the other vehicle suffered an injury to the scalp. They were also taken to a hospital to further evaluate the head laceration.
 
It was unknown if drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash. An investigation is underway.
