Felimon Rodriguez Hits Pedestrian on Lincoln Boulevard near Mill Street

 
OROVILLE, CA (January 26, 2024) — Felimon Rodriguez was involved in a deadly pedestrian accident on Lincoln Boulevard near Mill Street.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the deadly pedestrian accident happened around 5:49 p.m. Wednesday. Under unclear circumstances, Rodriguez was unable to avoid hitting a male pedestrian walking in the southbound lane of Lincoln Boulevard. Subsequently, Rodriguez’s 2008 Tacoma struck the man, sending him into a ditch.
 
Shortly after, the Butte County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene and First Responders took over to resuscitate the victim. However, efforts fell short, and the man passed away.
 
Following the incident, traffic investigators performed an investigation and ruled out alcohol and or drugs as possible factors. At this time, officials have not said the cause of the crash or the man’s name pending notification of next of kin.
