SAN DIEGO, CA (April 6, 2023) — A family was displaced, and a dog died after a car crashed into a house off Jamacha Road and Campo Road.
 
According to reports, the incident happened off Jamacha Road in a house occupied for more than 30 years. Earlier in March, a driver crashed into a living room, damaging the residence and displacing a family. Authorities arrived around 1:00 a.m. and learned that the family’s dog suffered traumatic injuries before dying shortly after.
 
The daughter of the couple who owned the home created a GoFundMe page campaign to help her parents pay for a place. Reports say that insurance will not cover the security deposit for a short-term rental and they anticipate it could be up to a year before they are able to move back.
