TULARE COUNTY, CA (April 6, 2023) — A fire lieutenant was injured after a fire truck rolled over and crashed on Richgrove Drive near Avenue 24.
 
According to officials, the single-car accident happened around 8:00 a.m. Wednesday. Officials say the lieutenant was heading from the Richgrove station to the Terra Bella station Wednesday when, for unknown reasons, the fire truck crashed.
 
Fire Engine 10 rolled over during the crash. Soon after, rescue crews arrived and freed a man who was pinned for 5 to 10 minutes before being saved. Paramedics brought the patient to a hospital with moderate injuries.
