56-Year-Old Woman Dies after Struck by Vehicle in Fontana

 
FONTANA, CA (December 20, 2023) – Eva Vera was hit and killed by a vehicle in Fontana late Friday afternoon on December 15.
 
The fatal crash happened around 5:14 p.m. in the 17000 block of Randall Street. According to the California Highway Patrol, Vera was walking in the area when a vehicle struck her.
 
The impact caused her significant injuries. Responding paramedics rushed her to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead at 5:56 p.m. She was 56 years old of Fontana.
 
It was unclear if the involved driver stayed after the crash.
