Car Crashes into Tree on Vintage Park Drive, Trayvon Winton and Essence Ntchampo

 
SOUTH SACRAMENTO, CA (August 31, 2022) – Essence Ntchampo and Trayvon Winton died in a car accident in South Sacramento neighborhood early Monday morning, August 29.
 
The accident happened a little before 4:30 a.m. on Vintage Park Drive and Elk Grove Florin Road, just near Kirkton Court. According to the California Highway Patrol, an unknown vehicle ended up hitting a fence and then a tree for unknown reasons.
 
Ntchampo, 21 years old, was the driver of the car. She died at the scene. Winton, a 33-year-old Vallejo resident and the front seat passenger, died at the hospital.
 
A third passenger suffered major but non-life-threatening injuries.
 
The cause of the crash and factors involved remain under investigation.
