57-Year-Old Man Dies after Struck by Hit-and-Run Driver in Hollywood

 
HOLLYWOOD, CA (September 19, 2023) – Elder Bardales was killed in a hit-and-run crash in Hollywood Sunday evening on September 17.
 
The fatal crash happened around 10:00 p.m. on Highland Avenue near Fountain Avenue. According to the Los Angeles Police Department, Bardales was crossing the street when a vehicle struck him.
 
The driver of the vehicle drove away after the crash but was arrested shortly.
 
Bardales died at the scene. He was 57 years old from Los Angeles, according to the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner.
