Two Dead in Hesperia Motorcycle Accident on Cottonwood Avenue and Sequoia Street

 
HESPERIA, CA (October 18, 2022) — Two drivers died after a motorcycle crash on Cottonwood Avenue and Sequoia Street on Sunday, October 16.
 
The incident occurred at around 7:24 p.m. and involved a 2010 Subaru Outback driven by a 43-year-old male from Hesperia. Additionally, a 2021 Honda CBR motorcycle driven by a 22-year-old male also from Hesperia was also involved in the incident.
 
According to Sheriff’s officials, the motorcycle traveled west on Sequoia. However, it failed to stop at the stop sign and crashed with the Subaru that traveled south on Cottonwood.
 
Both drivers died due to sustained injuries in the crash. Paramedics also rushed a 71-year-old female passenger in the Subaru by ambulance to a local hospital for minor injuries.
 
Investigators from the Hesperia Station Major Accident Investigation Team arrived at the area. Then they took over the investigation.
 
According to a sheriff’s news release, the investigation of whether intoxication played a role in this crash is ongoing.
