Hit-and-Run Driver Involved in Crash on 41st Street in San Diego
SAN DIEGO, CA (April 11, 2021) – Officers are now looking for the driver involved in a hit-and-run crash on 41st Street on April 6.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at the intersection of Gamma Street.
Based on a report, a red SUV heading west on Gamma did not at a stop sign and drove through the intersection. Subsequently, it collided with a minivan, which did not have a stop sign. Immediately, the red SUV went into reverse and continued heading west.
A Good Samaritan saw the accident and ran the two women in the minivan, a 50-year-old driver and her 45-year-old friend. The condition of the victims was not immediately available.
At this point, this hit-and-run crash on 41st Street is still under investigation. In addition, officials ask anyone with information to call San Diego Police at 619-531-2000.
