1 Dead after Car Crashes into Feed Truck on Lone Tree Road in San Joaquin County

 
SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY, CA (December 12, 2023) – A driver died in a rear-end accident on Lone Tree Road, Monday morning.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened on December 11, at about 4:10 a.m. For reasons still under investigation, a 2014 Honda Accord slammed into the rear of a feed truck near Carrolton Road.
 
As per reports, emergency crews had to pull the driver out of the vehicle. The victim was later pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities withheld the identity of the victim, pending notification of next of kin.
 
Meanwhile, the driver and the passenger of the feed truck did not sustain injuries.
 
CHP ruled out drugs and alcohol as factors in the fatal collision. Officers will release additional information once it becomes available.
