Driver Dies in 2-Car, Overturned Crash on Highway 94 in San Diego

 
SAN DIEGO, CA (April 6, 2023) — A driver died in a 2-car overturned accident on Highway 94 near 22nd Street.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal two-vehicle collision happened around 4:00 a.m. Friday. For unknown reasons, a man driving a westbound white Ford truck struck a gray Honda sedan. As a result of the impact, the truck veered to the left and overturned.
 
The Ford driver, who was ejected, died at the scene. Authorities described him as a man between 40 and 50 years old. As for the Honda driver, paramedics ushered the individual to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
 
At this time, traffic investigators are looking into impairment as a possible factor in the crash. If anyone has more information, please call the authorities.
