Driver Dies in 2-Car Crash at Linden Avenue in Bloomington
BLOOMINGTON, CA (May 25, 2023) — A driver died in a 2-car accident at Linden Avenue and Grove Place.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the deadly collision happened around 8:44 a.m. on May 23. For an unknown reason, a driver in a westbound 1998 Honda Civic failed to stop at the stop sign and entered the intersection. As a result, a northbound 2013 Volkswagen Passat collided with the Honda.
Minutes later, paramedics arrived and transported the 63-year-old Los Angeles man driving the Honda to a hospital with major injuries. Despite efforts to save the man, medical staff pronounced him dead. As for the 27-year-old Bloomington man driving the Volkswagen, he reported minor injuries.
