Truck Accident on 10 Freeway near Cherry Avenue Kills Dorian Yuman

 
FONTANA, CA (February 2, 2021) – A man who died in a truck accident Sunday two weeks ago on 10 Freeway in Fontana has been identified.
 
The accident happened around 1:00 p.m. on January 13 in the westbound lanes of the freeway on-ramp near Cherry Avenue.
 
Authorities said 39-year-old Dorian Carrillo Yuman of South Gate was driving a 2005 Ford west on the freeway. As he accelerated, he struck a 2006 Kenworth tractor-trailer truck that was directly ahead of him.
 
As a result, Yuman suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene.
 
The driver of the Kenworth, 64-year-old Fontana man, sustained minor injuries.
 
It is unknown if speed, drugs or alcohol played a factor in the accident. The full circumstances of the collision are being investigated by the California Highway Patrol – Rancho Cucamonga station.
