Pedestrian Dies after Struck by Hit-and-Run Driver on East Lynwood Drive near North Golden Avenue

 
SAN BERNARDINO, CA (February 2, 2021) – Authorities identified the pedestrian who died in a hit-and-run accident Wednesday evening, January 13.
 
The accident happened around 9:22 p.m. on East Lynwood Drive just east of North Golden Avenue in San Bernardino.
 
CHP officials said 39-year-old Michael Wilson of San Bernardino was standing in the roadway when an eastbound vehicle struck him.
 
Arriving units tried saving Wilson, but he died at the scene.
 
The involved vehicle, a suspected white Nissan SUV, was traveling at a high rate of speed. The driver of the SUV did not stop after the collision.
 
The San Bernardino Police Department is investigating the incident and on the lookout for the hit-and-run suspect.
