Donaciano Aldama Died in a Bicycle Crash on Highway 46 near Lost Hills Road

 
BUTTONWILLOW, CA (April 9, 2024) — Donaciano Aldama died in a bicycle accident on Highway 46 near Lost Hills Road Saturday morning.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the deadly bicycle crash happened on April 6 around 5:40 a.m. For unknown reasons, a driver of a Chevrolet Silverado drove directly toward a bicyclist traveling on the right asphalt shoulder. Subsequently, the westbound Chevrolet struck the bicyclist, ejecting the 57-year-old man onto the road.
 
Soon after, paramedics arrived at the scene but the Lost Hills man, identified as Donaciano Bustamante Aldama, passed away. The Kern County Coroner’s Office recently identified him as the victim.
 
At the time of the report, police did not release information on the driver or the factors contributing to the accident. However, if anyone has more information, please call the CHP.
