20-Year-Old Man Killed in Hit-and-Run Dirt Bike Accident on 54th Street in South Los Angeles

 
SOUTH LOS ANGELES, CA (October 18, 2022) – A 20-year-old dirt biker died in a hit-and-run accident on 54th Street on Sunday afternoon.
 
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the incident happened on October 16 at about 3:00 p.m. A dark-colored sedan reportedly made an unsafe turning movement and collided with the dirt bike.
 
The impact of the collision ejected the rider from the dirt bike near Cimarron Street.
 
Emergency crews rushed the dirt biker to California Hospital, where he later died. Authorities did not release the name of the victim.
 
As per reports, the driver of the sedan drove away from the scene and did not stop to render aid.
