Deputy Daniel Okamoto Dies in Off-Duty Motorcycle Crash at Crenshaw Boulevard and Skypark Drive

 
TORRANCE, CA (April 15, 2024) — Deputy Daniel Okamoto died in an off-duty motorcycle accident at Crenshaw Boulevard and Skypark Drive.
 
According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, the fatal off-duty crash happened Friday. Under unclear circumstances, the LA County Sheriff’s Department deputy crashed his motorcycle in the 25200 block of Crenshaw Boulevard. Subsequently, Okamoto, assigned to the Lomita Sheriff’s Station, suffered grave injuries and passed away in the crash.
