Dawson Yang Detained in Deadly DUI Crash on Highway 97

 
DORRIS, CA (February 17, 2023)— Dawson Yang was arrested in a fatal DUI accident on Highway 97 Wednesday morning.
 
For DUI-related reasons, 52-year-old Dawson Yang crashed his vehicle into a big rig. His passenger, who remains unidentified, was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the truck. The passenger suffered fatal injuries in the accident.
 
The big rig driver suffered unknown injuries, as well, but paramedics did not take him to a hospital. Meanwhile, authorities arrested Yang, of Milwaukee, Wisc., for suspected driving under the influence after paramedics took him to Sky Lakes Medical Center in Klamath Falls for treatment.
