David Oreba Killed in Traffic Accident on 10 Freeway [Colton, CA]

53-Year-Old Man Dies after Crashing into Tractor Trailer in Colton

 
COLTON, CA (February 15, 2024) – David W. Oreba was killed in a traffic accident in Colton Monday afternoon on February 12.
 
The fatal accident happened around 2:45 p.m. on 10 Freeway, just east of Mt. Vernon Avenue. According to the California Highway Patrol, Oreba was a 1996 Toyota Camry eastbound on the freeway when he veered to the right and struck a tractor trailer.
 
As a result of the crash, Oreba suffered significant injuries. Paramedics rushed him to a local hospital, where he later died. He was a 53-year-old Phelan resident, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff Coroner’s Division.
 
This fatality is still under investigation. Officers asked anyone with further information to contact Officer J. Garber at the San Bernardino CHP Office at 909-383-4247.
