Motorcyclist Dies after Colliding with SUV on Highway 168 near Gooseberry Lane

 
FRESNO COUNTY, CA (March 27, 2023) – Daljit Gill was killed in a motorcycle accident in Fresno County Sunday afternoon on March 26.
 
The accident happened around 2:30 p.m. on Highway 168 near Gooseberry Lane. According to the California Highway Patrol, Gill was riding his 2007 Ducati sports bike eastbound on the highway. Before entering a curve, he lost control of his bike and collided with a 2004 Toyota 4Runner.
 
Gill, who was wearing a helmet, died at the scene. He was 59 years old from Fresno, according to the Fresno County Coroner’s Office.
 
The 16-year-old driver of the SUV was not injured.
 
Authorities said alcohol and drugs did not play a role in the crash. Further investigation is underway.
