Passenger Dies in Early Morning Crash on 15 Freeway at Zzyzx Road

 
BAKER, CA (April 23, 2024) – Dajae Johnson was killed in a traffic accident in Baker early Saturday morning on April 20.
 
The fatal accident happened around 2:31 a.m. on 15 Freeway at Zzyzx Road. According to the California Highway Patrol, at least one vehicle was traveling on the freeway when it crashed for unknown reason.
 
Johnson, who was a 25-year-old Spring Valley resident and a rear-seat passenger of the vehicle, suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene.
 
It was unclear if there were any other injuries sustained in the crash.
 
The circumstances of this fatality remain under investigation.
