Motorcyclist Dies after Colliding with SUV in Lake Matthews

 
LAKE MATTHEWS, CA (November 14, 2023) – Cody Rossello was killed in a motorcycle accident in the Lake Matthews area of southwestern Riverside County Sunday evening on November 12.
 
The fatal accident happened around 9:28 p.m. on Cajalco Road, about 1,000 feet west of Gavilan Road. According to the California Highway Patrol, Rosello was riding his motorcycle when he collided with an SUV.
 
Rosello suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene. He was a 29-year-old Hemet resident, according to the Riverside County Sheriff-Coroner’s Bureau.
 
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
