Claude Bennett Injured, Armando Rosales Charged in DUI Crash on Maze Boulevard near Spencer Avenue

 
MODESTO, CA (March 29, 2021) — Claude Bennett was injured in a DUI multi-car accident on Maze Boulevard near Spencer Avenue Wednesday night.
 
According to police, the three-vehicle accident happened around 8:00 p.m. For suspected DUI reasons, 40-year-old Armando Rosales crossed over the center divider in his westbound Dodge SUV. Subsequently, his vehicle struck a Nissan pickup head-on and another Dodge car.
 
As a result, Bennett, described as a man in his 70, suffered major injuries. According to reports, firefighters had to extricate the Modesto man from his car. Meanwhile, the driver of the Dodge vehicle — a woman in her 30s — sustained minor injuries.
 
As of now, Rosales remains in custody at the Public Safety Center. However, if anyone has information about this accident, please contact the Modesto Police.
