Car Involved in Accident on Park Street in Alameda
ALAMEDA, CA (March 29, 2021) – Two people suffered injuries in a car accident on Park Street on March 25.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at an outdoor dining parklet shortly before 8:45 PM.
Based on a report, a Nissan SUV ran into the outdoor dining setup. Accordingly, one woman ran away from the area and others eating nearby quickly stand up.
As a result, two people were hurt in the crash. Alameda police and fire personnel responded to the scene. Immediately, they transported the two adult victims to local hospitals with mild and non-life-threatening injuries.
Prior to the incident, officers said the car was part of two separate collisions near the intersection. It rear-ended a car at the red light and crashed into the parklet. At this point, officials are still investigating this car accident on Park Street.
