Cassandra Spain Killed in 2-Vehicle Crash on Highway 242 near Clayton Road

 
CONCORD, CA (February 13, 2024) — Cassandra Spain died in a two-car accident on Highway 242 near Clayton Road Sunday morning.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the two-vehicle crash happened around 7:36 a.m. For an unknown reason, a southbound Ford and a southbound BMW SUV collided just south of Clayton Road.
 
Soon after, paramedics responded and found the uninjured BMW driver and 62-year-old Spain — the driver of the Ford — dead at the scene. Authorities did not say what led to the collision, but anyone who saw this accident can call CHP Contra Costa in Martinez at 925-646-4980.
