Carol Singer Dies after Colliding with Wrong-Way DUI Driver Nohemi Harrison in Chatsworth

 
CHATSWORTH, CA (March 16, 2022) – A woman was killed in a DUI wrong-way accident in the area of 24045 Woolsey Canyon Road in Chatsworth on Saturday morning.
 
Police identified the victim as 76-year-old Carol Singer, according to the Los Angeles County Coroner’s office.
 
The accident happened around 6:15 a.m. on March 12 near Valley Circle Boulevard. According to the CHP, 57-year-old Nohemi Harrison of West Hills was driving a 2021 Porsche when she drove her car to the left of the double yellow lines.
 
While traveling the wrong way, she collided head-on with a 2003 Nissan, driven by Singer.
 
As a result, Singer suffered fatal injuries. Los Angeles Fire Department crews rushed her to Northridge Hospital, where she died.
 
Harrison was taken to West Hills Hospital, where she was treated for her injuries. Police later arrested her on suspicion of driving under the influence.
