Carlos Perez Charged in DUI, Hit-and-Run Crash on Highway 29 at Eucalyptus Drive

 
AMERICAN CANYON, CA (December 12, 2024) — Carlos Perez faces DUI charges following a hit-and-run accident on Highway 29 near Eucalyptus Drive.
 
According to the American Canyon Police Department, the hit-and-run happened around 6:30 p.m. Tuesday. Under unclear circumstances, a 2003 Chevy Trailblazer crashed into another vehicle. Subsequently, the Chevy fled the scene before leaving on foot to hide in a nearby bush.
 
However, not long after, police arrested the driver — 30-year-old Carlos Noe Perez, of Oakland — after finding him in some nearby brush. Officers booked him into the Napa County Jail on DUI charges and leaving the scene of an injury accident.
As for the victim involved in the hit-and-run, he or she reported minor wounds in the accident and required hospital care.
