Vehicle On Utility Pole Wire, 2-Car Crash on Highway 395 in Adelanto

ADELANTO, CA (September 27, 2022) — A car landed on a utility pole wire following a 2-car accident on Highway 395 at Mojave Drive on Sunday.

According to reports, the incident occurred around 8:24 a.m. Upon responding, San Bernardino County Sheriff and San Bernardino County Fire Department officials found a white Honda Accord straddling a guy-wire. A guy-wire helps keep utility poles upright.

In addition to that vehicle, authorities found a Nissan Sentra with front-end damage and an unknown vehicle with rear-end damage.

Authorities believe the driver of the Honda Accord tried to avoid a two-car crash at the corner but struck the utility pole wire instead.

No other information surrounding this incident was available. However, if anyone has more news to share, please call the Victor Valley Station at (760) 552-6800.

Keep your eyes on the road to take evasive action in case you run into an emergency. Following too closely to vehicles often leads to multi-vehicle accidents. When you keep a considerable distance from the cars around you, including staying out of their blind spots, you minimize the risk.
