Bicyclist Dies after Struck by Hit-and-Run Driver near Veterans Boulevard in Redwood City

 
REDWOOD CITY, CA (April 3, 2023) – A bicyclist was killed in a hit-and-run crash near Veterans Boulevard and Maple Street on Friday evening.
 
The fatal crash happened around 9:25 p.m. on March 31. According to the Redwood City Police Department, the bicyclist was struck by a vehicle near the intersection.
 
After the crash, the driver of the vehicle did not stop leaving the bicyclist with severe injries.
 
The San Mateo County Coroner’s Office confirmed the bicyclist died in the crash. They withheld the victim’s identity at this time.
