BAKERSFIELD, CA (October 24, 2023) – A bicyclist was injured in a hit-and-run crash at Pesante Road and Mesa Drive in east Bakersfield on Sunday morning.
 
The crash happened around 11:03 a.m. on October 22. According to the California Highway Patrol, the bicyclist was riding in the area when a vehicle hit them.
 
After the crash, the driver of the vehicle did not stop to render aid.
