Elderly Man Dies after Struck by Vehicle at East 40th and North Harrison Streets

 
SAN BERNARDINO, CA (February 15, 2023) – Baldomero Esteva Ramirez died in a pedestrian accident in San Bernardino Thursday night on February 9.
 
The fatal accident happened around 6:43 p.m. at the intersection of East 40th Street and North Harrison Street. According to the San Bernardino Police Department, Ramirez was walking in the area when a vehicle struck him.
 
Ramirez suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene at 7:13 p.m. He was an 84-year-old San Bernardino resident.
 
It is unclear if the involved driver stayed after the crash.
 
Police are still investigating the fatality.
