At Least 5 Hurt in 3-Car Crash on Highway 101 in Cloverdale

 
CLOVERDALE, CA (January 24, 2023) — At least five people were injured in a 3-car accident on Highway 101 near Asti Store Road.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the multi-vehicle crash happened around 7:45 a.m. Saturday. For what investigators believe might have been black ice causing the crash, two pickup trucks and a Porsche crashed on Highway 101 South. Drivers faced one lane blocked due to the collision. Soon after, authorities responded to assist the victims and debris on the road.
 
By 10:00 a.m., CHP officers reopened the lanes.
 
It’s unclear what drove the crash, but investigators do believe black ice might have played a factor.
