Angeles Rodriguez Dies in DUI 2-Car Crash on Olympic Boulevard and Main Street
SOUTH LOS ANGELES, CA (February 2, 2023) — Angeles Rodriguez died in a DUI 2-car accident on Olympic Boulevard and Main Street Sunday morning.
According to Los Angeles Police, the fatal two-vehicle collision happened around 5:00 a.m. Sunday. For DUI reasons, a driver ran a red traffic light and crashed into a vehicle driven by Angeles Rodriguez. According to surveillance footage, one car slammed into a utility pole at the intersection, and Rodriguez’s vehicle crashed into a corner of a building.
Rodriguez, a well-known street vendor who worked three jobs, died from her injuries. As for the suspected DUI driver of the other vehicle, he was arrested the same day but released after posting bail.
