Dog Walker Dies after Struck by Hit-and-Run Driver in Panorama City

 
PANORAMA CITY, CA (October 26, 2023) – Adriana Sanchez was killed in a hit-and-run crash in Panorama City earlier this month on October 2.
 
The fatal crash happened around 6:00 a.m. at the intersection of Burnett Avenue and Rayen Street. According to the Los Angeles Police Department, Sanchez was walking her dogs inside a marked crosswalk when a late-90s blue Ford F-150 pickup truck struck her.
 
After the crash, the driver of the pickup fled the scene without rendering aid.
 
Responding paramedics rushed Sanchez to a hospital, where she later died. She was a as 51 years old, a mother and grandmother, according to the county Medical Examiner’s Office.
 
The city of Los Angeles has a standing reward offer of $50,000 for information that leads to a conviction in a fatal hit-and-run.
