Adan Orozco Killed in Bicycle Accident near East First Street [Pomona, CA]

Bicyclist Dies after Struck by SUV near East First and San Lorenzo Streets

 
POMONA, CA (January 30, 2023) – Adan Orozco was killed in a bicycle accident in Pomona Thursday evening on January 26.
 
The fatal accident happened around 7:28 p.m. near East First Street and San Lorenzo Street. According to the Pomona Police Department, Orozco was riding his bicycle in the area when an SUV struck him.
 
Orozco suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene. He was 38 years old, according to the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office.
 
The driver of the SUV stayed on scene and cooperated with police.
 
The fatality is still under investigation. Police asked anyone with information to call the department’s Traffic Services Bureau at 909-802-7741 or 909-620-2048.
