30-Year-Old Pedestrian Dies after Struck by Vehicle on North Main Street in Santa Ana

 
SANTA ANA, CA (January 30, 2023) – A man was killed in a pedestrian accident on North Main Street in Santa Ana Thursday afternoon on January 26.
 
Around 2:29 p.m., the Santa Ana Police Department officers responded to the 900 block of North Main Street after receiving reports of a pedestrian down in the roadway.
 
Upon arrival, police determined that the victim was attempting to cross a street when a southbound vehicle struck him.
 
As a result, the victim suffered significant injuries and died at the hospital. He was approximately 30-year-old. His identity was not immediately available.
 
The driver of the vehicle remained on scene and cooperated with officers, police said.
