BAY POINT, CA (September 7, 2021) – A 9-year-old victim sustained injuries in a hit-and-run accident on Chadwick Lane, Monday afternoon.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened on August 30, at about 4:10 p.m. Due to unknown circumstances, a vehicle hit the child near the Westwood Village Community in Bay Point.
 
Emergency responders rushed the child to a hospital. As per reports, the victim suffered a broken leg.
 
However, the driver of the vehicle immediately left the area.
