FORTUNA, CA (November 6, 2023) — A 9-year-old child hit by a car on Rohnerville Road at Kenwood Road suffered multiple injuries.
 
According to reports, the pedestrian accident happened around 7:50 a.m. on November 3. Under unclear circumstances, a driver of a truck struck a 9-year-old boy. Moments later, paramedics responded to the scene to find the child, awake and conscious, yet with a cut to his leg and a possible knee deformity, as callers noted.
 
Due to the child’s state, paramedics transported him to St Joseph’s Hospital for treatment.
