Hit-and-Run on West G Street in San Diego Badly Injures Elderly Woman

 
SAN DIEGO, CA (May 31, 2021) – An 87-year-old woman was seriously injured in a hit-and-run on West G Street in San Diego Sunday afternoon, May 30.
 
According to the San Diego Police Department, the woman was crossing at 700 West G Street just before 3:00 p.m. when an eastbound vehicle struck her. The driver then fled east, leaving the woman with serious injuries.
 
Paramedics transported the woman to UCSD hospital. The patient was treated for a brain bleed and a laceration to the back of her head.
 
Police described the suspect vehicle as a white 2013 to 2015 Nissan Altima.
