Multi-Vehicle Accident on Gilman Springs Road in Moreno Valley Injures Five People

 
MORENO VALLEY, CA (May 30, 2021) – Five people suffered injuries in a multi-vehicle accident on Gilman Springs Road Friday.
 
The accident happened just before 3:00 p.m. on May 28, near Bridge Street. According to the California Highway Patrol, four vehicles collided for unknown reasons. Officials described the three vehicles as a white van, black Nissan Altima and black Chevy pickup truck. The description of the fourth one was not immediately available.
 
The crash left at least one person trapped inside their vehicle and required extrication.
 
Responding paramedics immediately began evaluating and treating the injured parties. Firefighters freed the injured driver of the Nissan.
 
Five people were eventually transported to area hospitals with minor to moderate injuries.
 
At this time, the exact cause of the crash and factors involved are under investigation.
