8 Hurt in Van Nuys Multi-Car Crash on Van Nuys Boulevard

 
VAN NUYS, CA (June 23, 2021) — Eight people were injured in a multi-car accident on Van Nuys Boulevard near Valerio Street Monday night.
 
According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the multi-car collision happened around 8:20 p.m. For unknown reasons, four vehicles became involved in a crash, two of which were parked cars. In the event of the collision, one of the cars struck a female pedestrian while she was crossing the street.
 
Shortly after, firefighters arrived and extricated several patients from their respective vehicles. Due to their injuries, they brought six adults to nearby hospitals while the other two declined medical care.
 
At this time, authorities have not released information on the ultimate cause. However, anyone with more information should contact the police officers.
