73-Year-Old Maria Arce Dies in 2-Car Crash on Merle Haggard Drive at Highway 65

 
BAKERSFIELD, CA (March 9, 2023) — Maria Arce died in a two-car accident on Merle Haggard Drive at Highway 65.
 
According to California Highway Patrol officers, the fatal two-vehicle accident happened on March 1 at 3:42 p.m. For unknown reasons, 73-year-old Maria Guadalupe Arce crashed her vehicle into a second car on Highway 65 and Merle Haggard Drive.
 
CHP officers arrived at the scene and found her with serious injuries. She was brought to Kern Medical but died from her wounds.
