Anthony Myles Killed in Motorcycle Crash on 10 Freeway near Haugen-Lehmann Way

 
WHITEWATER, CA (April 8, 2024)Anthony Myles died in a motorcycle accident on the 10 Freeway near Haugen-Lehmann Way.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal motorcycle crash happened around 2:35 p.m. Sunday. For an unknown reason, 71-year-old Myles lost control of his 2021 Harley-Davidson at an unconfirmed speed. Subsequently, he crashed his motorcycle in wet road conditions and was ejected.
 
Soon after, paramedics arrived and took him to Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs with major injuries. However, he passed away two days later.
 
Following the accident, traffic investigators canvassed the area for details, determining that no other car was involved in the accident. They also have not confirmed if DUI factored into the cause. If anyone has more information, please call the CHP’s San Gorgonio office at 951-846-5300.
