SAN DIEGO, CA (December 6, 2021) — A 39-year-old man died in a car accident on Lytton Street at Rosecrans Street on Saturday morning.
 
According to authorities, the fatal two-car crash happened in the Loma Portal community of San Diego. For unknown reasons, a 39-year-old driving a blue Chevy entered the intersection and crashed into a gray Altima while driving eastbound on Lytton Street.
 
Shortly after, San Diego Police and paramedics responded to pronounce the driver of the Chevy dead at the scene.
 
Meanwhile, emergency personnel rushed the 27-year-old man driving the Nissan Altima to a hospital with minor injuries.
 
At this time, what led to the accident remains unclear. However, any witnesses ready to help the authorities with this crash should contact the San Diego Police Department.
