6 Hospitalized in Santa Maria Rollover Crash on Foxen Canyon Road

 
SANTA MARIA, CA (September 16, 2024) — Six people suffered minor to major injuries in a solo-car rollover accident on Foxen Canyon Road east of Santa Maria.
 
Authorities responded to the 5:50 a.m. Thursday crash. Upon dispatch, the Santa Barbara County Fire Department and California Highway Patrol found a vehicle that had rolled over.
 
Six patients required hospital care. Due to their conditions, paramedics took two with major injuries, two with moderate injuries and two with minor injuries to Marian Regional Medical Center.
 
After the crash, authorities investigated the incident to learn that the car rolled over and crashed during foggy conditions. Authorities also found a damaged pole that called for Pacific Gas and Electric Co. professionals to the scene to fix the utility equipment.
 
At this time, authorities do not have the leading cause of the crash.
