Juvenile Pedestrian Dies after Struck by Vehicle on West 8th Street in San Bernardino

 
SAN BERNARDINO, CA (April 9, 2023) – A 5-year-old child from San Bernardino was killed in a pedestrian accident on West 8th Street Tuesday afternoon on April 4.
 
According to the San Bernardino Police Department, a vehicle struck the child in the 300 block of West 8th Street around 4:43 p.m.
 
First responders rushed the child to Loma Linda University Medical Center, where the victim was pronounced dead at 6:43 p.m.
 
It is unclear if the involved driver stayed after the crash.
 
The San Bernardino Police Department is handling the investigation.
