GREENFIELD, CA (October 13, 2023) – A 5-year-old child was hospitalized in a four-vehicle pileup on Walnut Avenue in Greenfield Tuesday afternoon on October 10.
 
According to the Greenfield Police Department, a driver made an illegal U-turn, causing a pileup crash involving three other cars.
 
The child in one of the cars suffered a head injury after the crash. A helicopter ambulance took them to a Bay Area hospital in an unknown condition.
 
The driver who made the U-turn was issued a citation for an illegal maneuver.
