5 Hurt in Los Feliz 3-Car Crash on Western Avenue

 
LOS FELIZ, CA (April 20, 2022) — Five people were injured in a 3-car accident at Western Avenue and Franklin Avenue on Monday.
 
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the multi-vehicle crash happened just after 1:00 a.m. After learning about a possible stolen vehicle, officers tried to pull over the vehicle with three suspects inside, who subsequently led police on a high-speed pursuit.
 
At some point during the chase, the stolen vehicle crashed into two other cars, including a pickup truck driven by a public utility worker.
 
Following the impact, one of the two suspects ran away from the police, but officers caught on and arrested that person. Soon after, paramedics responded and tended to at least five patients, one of whom suffered critical injuries.
 
At this time, officers have much to investigate. Thus, anyone with information should contact police officers.
