Multi-Vehicle Crash on Sonny Bono Memorial Freeway in Palm Desert Sends 4 People to Hospital

 
PALM DESERT, CA (December 27, 2022) – Four people were injured in a multi-vehicle accident on Sonny Bono Memorial (10) Freeway in the Palm Desert area on December 24.
 
The accident happened around 5:17 p.m. just west of Monterey Avenue. According to the CHP, four vehicles collided along the eastbound freeway for unknown reasons.
 
Riverside County Fire Department crews responded and found four patients, two of them suffered moderate injuries and two had minor injuries. They transported all patients to hospitals for treatment.
 
At this time, the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
