At Least 1 Person Hospitalized in Car Crash on Highway 299 in Willow Creek
WILLOW CREEK, CA (December 27, 2022) — At least one person was injured in a car accident on Highway 299 near Berry Summit.
According to reports, the car crash took place around 5:00 p.m. Sunday. Two occupants involved in the accident were reportedly trapped in their vehicle, situated on the eastbound lane.
Upon arrival, Willow Creek Fire, Salyer Fire and Blue Lake Fire found at least one person in need of medical attention. Paramedics requested two Arcata ambulances to the scene and a tow truck to tend to the disabled vehicle.
By 6:02 p.m., California Highway Patrol officers cleared the scene. Reports have not indicated the cause of the accident. But an investigation into the crash should reveal more details.
